TG Research is led by Tamara Gooderham, a highly skilled and passionate researcher with wide-ranging industry experience and particular specialisms in survey technology. research project management and strategic insight.
Tamara relocated to Houston, Texas from Bristol, England in April 2012 with her husband and two children. Prior to establishing TG Research, Tamara worked for the survey software and research organization Snap Surveys for fifteen years. Tamara joined as their sole researcher in 1997 and left in 2012 as Head of Research Services, having developed a department of 15 staff responsible for generating an annual income of $1 million.
Snap Surveys is globally recognized as a leading survey software and service organization commanding a position at the forefront of developments in survey technology for over thirty years. Tamara ran Snap’s very first online projects in the late 1990s for a range of high profile international clients. She also presented at global conferences on the subject of online research.
Tamara set up the Projects Team (forerunner of the Research Services Department) running customized and technically-advanced survey research for Snap’s key clients. Her most recent role at Snap primarily involved project coordination of cutting-edge cross-departmental online survey projects, managing researchers, analysts and data processors and, as an integral part of the management team, actively putting business strategy into practice.
Prior to her long service with Snap, Tamara started her career in survey research working as a Research Assistant in Hong Kong while studying for her Masters Degree in Behavioral Science. Tamara is also an alumnus of Newcastle University, where she majored in Psychology. She is a Certified Member of the Market Research Society and holds the Diploma and Certificate in Market and Social Research Practice.
